He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Zalar and Audrey Anne Zalar (Zatorsky). He is survived by: his sons, Justin Zalar (Mary) of Eastlake and Tony Zalar (Cortney) of Painesville Township; his siblings, Robert Zalar (Diane Dymeck), Christine Zalar, Joan Zalar (Ron Paramore) and Susan Zalar; his grandchildren, Abigail and Colton Zalar; and his nieces and nephews, Anne Passafiume, Julie Zalar, Alex Passafiume (Christa) and Sam Zalar.
