He is survived by: his wife Janice Steffens (Sippola); his children, Jonathan Steffens (Wanda) and Julie Moses (Darrell); his grandchildren, Brittany, Sydney, Savannah Steffens, Joshua and Jacob Moses; and his brother William Steffens (Clarice). He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (508 Mentor Ave, Painesville, OH 44077).
