He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Tomblin and Lula Mae Tomblin; his wife Leslie Howard; his son Jackie Ray Hall; and his siblings, Juanita Nelson, Emma Lue Hicks, Nancy Alvin Tomblin Askew and John Henry Tomblin.
He is survived by: his children, Floyd Marie, Arthur L., Douglas E., Kenny Tomblin, Ella Mae Rose-Wargo and Marcia Young; his brother Arthur E. Tomblin; his adoptive sons, Zachary Askew, Jamie Hall, Jerome Boykin, Dino Johnson and Joseph Johnson; and his close friends, Shirley Hankton and Bernice Johnson. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
