With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Samuel Canfield (Painesville, Ohio), born in Corry, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Canfield Sr. and Arlene Canfield (Vettenburg); his wife Dolores; his son Kevin Canfield; and his siblings, Allen Canfield and Marilyn Abt.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Canfield (Kathy) and Michelle Sweeney (Todd); his grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Amy, Tiffany, Sam, Madeline, Ryan, John, Craig, Kevin and Luke; and his sister Marjorie Brink.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Traditions Hospice.
