He was predeceased by: his mother Carol Jean; his siblings, Debbie Heath, Gary and William "Guy" Nelson; and his nieces, Jessica and Sammi Nelson.

He is survived by: his sister Caren Hunchuck (Frank); and his nieces and nephews, Shawnette Wilson, Wesley Heath and Brad Heath. He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
