She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence E. Jones and Bernice Jones (Wichert); and her sister Dorothy Kallio. She is survived by: her husband Joseph G. Smole; her children, Chris Smole (Donna) and Heather Dolan (Randy); her grandchildren, Josh and Paige Dolan; her brother Richard Jones (Jan); and her brother-in-law Heikki Kallio.
