Bill Gombos Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Gombos of Painesville, Ohio, born in Rhodell, West Virginia, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabor and Wilma; his wife Geraldine; his grandson David; and his siblings, Ethel Leavetta, Helen Banicki, Margaret Blankenship, Joe, Johnny and Gabe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Scott (Karl) of Painesville and Sharon Borris (Connie) of Mentor; his grandchildren, Karl IV (Ginny) of Georgia, Kristal (Russ) of Kansas and Keith "Bubba" of Painesville; his great grandchildren, Leah, Adam, Haley, Ireland and London; his sisters, Wilma Short of Jenkins, KY and Mary Smith of Perry; and his close friends, Jordan, Easton and Giovannie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Due to the Covid Pandemic, a memorial service is being planned for the summer and details are to follow.
