It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Assunta Zappitelli (Painesville, Ohio), who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Assunta Zappitelli to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Bertone and Addolerata Giancola; her husband Nicola; her son Donald Zappitelli; and her siblings, Angelo Bertone (Dominica), Antonietta Zappitelli (Alfred) and Michelina Stanziale (Silvio).

She is survived by: her children, Mary Worrell (Wayne) and Anthony Zappitelli (Kristie); and her grandchildren, Rylee, Nicky and Nathan Zappitelli. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Mary's Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville, OH 44077.
