She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Wilson Fletcher and Edith Catherine Fletcher (Atkinson); and her siblings, John Fletcher, Edwin Fletcher and Leonora Jost.
She is survived by: her children, Marguerite Carter, Catherine Carter, Ruth Maxon, Robert Carter (Tracee Patterson), John Carter and James Carter; her grandchildren, Michele, Robert, Timothy, Sarah, Andrew, Ian, Courtney, Nathan, Madeline and William; and her siblings, Sheila Detweiler (Robin), Wilson Fletcher (Darlene) and Kenneth Fletcher (Jean). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. James Episcopal Church or Heifer International.
