She was predeceased by: her parents, Lisbeth Kaliski and Sigmund Rechnitz; her husband Hans Engel; and her sibling Leonie Doernberg. She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Engel (Zevi Miller); and her grandchildren, Judith Miller (William Baude), David Miller (Camille Herland), Herschel, Esther and Simon.
