He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Aileen Thomas and Albert I. Welch; and his wife Betty Thomas (Wallace). He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Price (Roy) of Morehead, Ella Barnes of Olive Hill and Randall Thomas (Dawn) of Fairfield Ohio; his close friend Betty J. Muench; his grandchildren, Russell, Troy, Casey, Dalton, Raychel, Brandon, Elizabeth, Anthony, Chloe and Luke; his siblings, William Welch of Delaware, Ohio and Sharon Walker of Leitchfield; and also Terrance Huff of Hamilton. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, with one on the way; and 4 great great granddaughters.
