She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Vival and Harvey Monroe Smith; and her siblings, Ruby Austin, Boyd Harvey Smith, Harold Dean Smith and James Odell Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Hatton; her sons, Everett Dean Masters and Keith Alan Masters (Anita); and her siblings, Doris Merritt, Rose Bowling, Joyce Smith, Phillip Smith (Marlyn) and Joseph Smith (Marian).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home (5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, OH 45056). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Darrtown Cemetery.
