He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Peters and Clara Peters. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Newton; his sons, Chad Peters (Andrea) and Zachary Peters; his grandchildren, Clara and Noah Peters; his siblings, Sandy Hyland (Gerry), Joanie Burkhart, Bob Peters (Leslie), John Peters (Denise) and Jim Peters (Laura); and his brother-in-law Randy Newton (Lynn). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Presbyterian Music Ministry or the American Heart Association.
