He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Shepherd and Marinda Shepherd; his wife Melva Baker Bowman; his sons, Don Bowman (Cheryl) and Ron Bowman (Mary); and his brother Oscar Shepherd (Diane). He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
