He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wiley Green and Breta Naomi Green. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Matthew Green (Paula) and Lee Anne Vitatoe (David); his grandchildren, Valerie, Norah Green of Oxford, OH, Nicolas and Luca Vitatoe of Virginia Beach, VA.; and his brother-in-law Dana Christiansen.
He later served as the CEO of the Phi Kappa Tau Foundation in Oxford.
