It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald James Schindler of Oxford, Ohio, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Schindler (Custer) and Harold Schindler; his wife Deb; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Howard and Doug Ison.
He is survived by: his nieces, Rebecca McCarren (Lee) and Megan Waugh (Todd); his goddaughter Katie Steiner (Garrett); his nieces and nephews, Bradley Howard (Anca Stoicea), Matt Schindler (Beth), Brandon Schindler, Jessica Bacon (Brian), Jason Schindler, Stephanie Schindler, Ryan Schindler, Mia Avery and Eric Staley; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan Howard, Asher, Gaven, Cody, Aiden, Lauren, Audrey, Larkin, Charlotte, Olivia, Kayla and Lily; his brothers, Donald Schindler and Randall Schindler (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Angela Howard, Berta Howard, Philip Howard and David Woods (Leanne).
