He is survived by: his parents, Elaine Freeman and Brian VanDeRyt Sr.; his stepfather Wayne; his sister Shelby; his brother-in-law Jacob; his nephew Silas; his nieces, Aubrie, Marlowe and Maren; and his grandparents, Mark, Shirley Fritsch and Roger VanDeRyt. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
