She is survived by: her nephew David Doan; her sister-in-law Sarah Whelpton Blumenthal of Seattle, WA; her son John Whelpton (Ann Garrison Whelpton); her niece Susan Whelpton Lippman of Oxford; her daughter-in-law Deborah Wolfson of San Diego, CA; and her grandchildren, John Ross Whelpton (Kathleen Walters), Leigh Whelpton Washington DC (Koray Aysin), Julia Wolfson Whelpton of San Diego, CA, Andrew Lippman and Kaya Whelpton Aysin of Washington, D. C..
