With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Mitchell of Overpeck, Ohio, who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Stempfley and Helen Stempfley (Frye); her husband Donald Mitchell; her children, Lisa Brown and Jeffrey Mitchell; her granddaughter Michelle Mitchell; her great grandchild Maysin Chaney; and her brothers, Richard and Douglas Stempfley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Chaney (Edwin) and Pamela Douglas (Olan); and her grandchildren, Carri Mefford (Randy), Corinn Brown, Jason Chaney, Chad Brown (Nicole), Alicia Burdick and Cheryl Brown (Alicia Sampson). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
