He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Douglas Hale, Jr. and Josephine Krause Hale; and his brothers, Allen Hale and Jim Hale. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Jean Ralstin Hale of Otway; his sons, Matthew Hale of Seymour, Stephen Hale, IV (Stephanie) of Oak Island and Joshua Hale (Kimberly) of West Portsmouth; his grandchildren, Aden Hale, Paden Blanchard and Alyssa Pipkins; and his great grandchildren, Logan Blanchard, Rylan Blanchard, Sophia Pipkins and Ronin Pipkins.
