It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Eugene Thompson (Otway, Ohio), born in Rarden, Ohio, who passed away on September 24, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Thompson and Evelyn Boldman (White); his stepfather Furman Boldman; his children, Roberta "Jeanie" Jones and Dwayne E. Thompson; the mother of his children Rebecca Blanton; his grandson Dwayne W. Thompson; and also, William Thompson, John Thompson and Lonnie Boldman.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Thompson (Bach); his daughter Pam Boldman (Kenny) of Otway; his stepdaughter Paula Fox of West Union; his siblings, Norman Thompson (Marie) of Otway and Marilyn Akers (Henry) of Winchester; and his sister-in-law Beth Boldman of Otway. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five step grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
