She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jerry Arthur and Fannie Flannigan; and her children, Julia Marie Hess and Robert "BJ" Hess Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Hess; her daughter Rebecca Hess; her grandchildren, Andrew Hess and Angel Hess; and her siblings, Roy Arthur, Gary Arthur, Larry Arthur (Vicky), Doug Arthur, Anna Harris (David), Thelma Adams, Rita Ferguson (Eddie) and Crystal Murphy (Michael).

The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
