He is survived by: his wife Kathryn J Griffith Zaayer of Otway; his children, Vickie Morris of Lakeview, Thomas R Zaayer of Village Grove, Phillip C "Chuck" Zaayer (Becky) of Somerset and Melissa Powell (Dan) of Otway; his grandchildren, Brad Oakley (Sara) of Lakeview, Jaime Spofford (Steve) of Belle Center, Jessica Dimmerling (Brad) of Lowesville, Connor Zaayer of Village Grove, Wyatt Zaayer of Village Grove, Rebekah Love of Washington, Phillip C Zaayer II of Ingleside, Steven Carnahan, Jennifer Kelley of Fort Myers, Daniel Rife of Aransas Pass, Ben Powell (Jennifer) of Rosemount and Nikki Montavon (Nathan) of McDermott; and his great grandchildren, Lindsey, Stevie, MaKenna, Hayden, Sara, Kenli, Madison, Brooklyn, Brady, Madalyn, Katelynn, Rachael, Michael, Rebecca, Annabelle, Alexa, Amelia, Helena and Bella. He is also survived by 10 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Oswego Cemetery.
