He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Adams and Meda Roberts Adams; his former wife Connie Stevens Adams; his son William; and his siblings, Simon Adams, Ray Adams, Christopher Adams, Betty Humphrey, Rosemary Tackett, Fannie Green and Sara Jane Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith Adams; his daughters, Sheila Campbell (Mike) of Circleville and Gail Noble (Jon) of Circleville; his stepchildren, Tricia Burchett (Eric) of Rosemount, OH, Sarah Gambill (Steven) of Otway, OH and Stephen Kirk Jr. (Tina) of Bowling Green, KY; and his sisters, Sarah Lewis, Kathryn Shiltz and Alice Abner. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be designated to SOMC Hospice in George's memory.
