She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Smith and Virginia Moore Smith; her husband Marion Eugene Lafferty; her sons, Sean Smith and Dennis Cochran; her grandson Cole; her siblings, Elsie Rosielee Pickard, Sarah Ethel Gilbert, Ralph Smith, James Smith and Lester Smith; and her brother-in-law Carl Castle.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene Smith (Paige), Regina Lafferty, Amy Showalter (Mike), Chuckie Bentley (Angela), Bobby Allen, Buggie Smith, Joey Smith, James Scaff (Amy) and Phyliss Schmidbaer; her grandchildren, Aleigha, Jaden, Abel, Faith, Elisa, Alyson, Levi, Ashley, Tori, Becky, Jeri, Taunya, Kaylee, Nick and Rebecca; and her siblings, David Smith (Jane), Mary Reed (Albert) and Linda Castle (Steve Boldman). She is also survived by great grandchildren.
