We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2019, at the age of 87, Charles B. Dettwiller (Otway, Ohio), born in McDermott, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ellsworth and Clara Davis Dettwiller; his great grandchild Sadie Grace Struckel; and his siblings, Paul, Edward, William Dettwiller and JoAnn Whitehead.
He is survived by: his spouse Mary Margaret Simon Dettwiller; his children, Charles "Chuck" Dettwiller (Jamie) of Otway, Christine Uhl (Hank) of Lucasville and Sherry Miller May (Doug) of Lexington, Ohio; his grandchildren, Joshua L. Miller (Paige) of Columbus, Jeremy D. Miller of Reynoldsburg, Scott Uhl (Mandy) of Otway, Charles "Joey" Uhl (Elaine) of Englewood, Lynnsay Struckel (Scott) of Piketon, Katie, Claire and Annie Dettwiller of Otway; and his brother Fred Dettwiller of McDermott.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Notre Dame Schools, 2220 Sunrise Avenue, Portsmouth, Ohio.
