It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Sue Chapman of Otway, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on November 8, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Gries and Dorothy Gries; her husband Earl Chapman; her son Daniel Eric Chapman; and her brothers, Richard Gries and Charles Gries.

She is survived by: her children, Flora Chapman of New Boston, Earl David (Amy Chapman) of Gahanna and Scot Lee Chapman of Otway; her grandchildren, Angelika Chapman of Gahanna, Kira Chapman of Gahanna and Katelyn Chapman of Batavia; her brother John Thomas (Jean Gries) of Milford; and her daughter-in-law Kimberly Chapman of Batavia.
