Sylvia A. Horstman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia A. Horstman of Ottoville, Ohio, who passed away on December 1, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph F. Wittler and Mary Wittler (Schulte); her husband William J. Horstman; her granddaughter Ashley Klima; her siblings, Alvera Stippich, Alma Schnipke, Eleanor Gordon, Albert Wittler, Irene Wittler, Agnes Fusselman and Alice Wannemacher; and her sister-in-law Jane Stallkamp.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Rhodes (Todd) of Bellbrook, OH, Vaughn Horstman (Lynne) of Ottoville and Saundra Klima (Bob) of Ottoville; her grandchildren, Matthew Bernard (Robin), Daniel Bernard, Thomas Tanner (Brittany), Lucianna Pavel (Tony), Weston Horstman (Tory), Alexander Horstman (Jill), Zachary Horstman (Leanna), Bradley Klima (Leslie), Brett Klima (Clara) and Brittany Albrinck (Dan); and her great grandchildren, Austin Bernard, Jah'meir E., William, Theodore, Sullivan, Henrick Horstman, Jace, Kennedy, Cohen Horstman, Jaxson, Preston Klima, Elayna and Everly Albrinck.
A prayer was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:45 PM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Jackson Twp (16085 OH-634, Fort Jennings, OH 45844). Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (189 Church St, Ottoville, OH 45875).
