He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Bruns and Rita Bruns (Kremer); his wife Joan Pax; and his siblings, Gerald Bruns, Arlene Dierker and Jean Hahn.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Bruns (Donna) of Coldwater, Teresa Bloomfield (Jim) of Lima, Angie Utrup (Mark) of Delphos, David Bruns (Barb) of Tiffin, Carol McGee of Cincinnati, Janet Cok (Curt) of Williard and Barb Puckett (Kevin) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Mark Bruns (Erin), Matt Bruns (Katie), Katie Dodds (Wes), Josh Bloomfield (Christine), Bradley Utrup (Audrey), Lauren DiMario (Andrew), Danielle Coffman (Brandon), Jessica Harvey (Austin), Casey Banks-Sherer (Brandyn), Kyle McGee (Megan), Sarah McGee, Matt Cok (Elise), Jay Cok (Laura), Mikayla Mueller and Jacob Mueller; his siblings, Judy Didier (David), John Bruns (Jean), Margie Nottingham (Don) and Bev Bramstedt; and his siblings-in-law, Ethel Bruns, Paul Dierker and Joe Hahn. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
