He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Bendele and Amelia Bendele (Knippen); his sister Jean Igel; and his brother-in-law Al Romer. He is survived by: his children, Mike Bendele (Jennifer) of Ottoville, Dan Bendele (Sue) of Ottoville, Jim Bendele (Terri) of Ottoville and Sherri Edelbrock (Joel) of Ottoville; his grandchildren, Drew Bendele, Seth Bendele (Rachel), Anna Bendele, Megan Evers (Kyle), Kyle Bendele (Carly), Rachelle Selhorst (Austin), Ryan Bendele, Kambrie Edelbrock, Caden Edelbrock and Kylin Edelbrock; his sister Ruth Romer of St. Henry; and his brother-in-law Bill Igel of Columbus. He is also survived by four great-granddaughters.
