He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert Meyer and Tom Meyer; his granddaughter Marissa Niese; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Gerding, Charles Warnimont, Robert Siebeneck, Don Siebeneck, Rita Meyer and Valeta Siebeneck.

He is survived by: his spouse Sharon Siebeneck; his children, Donna Becker (Dan) of Ottoville, Cindy Niese (Rob) of Leipsic, Jan Meyer of Ottoville, Greg Meyer (Kathy) of Hubbard, NE, Don Meyer of Cloverdale and Roger Meyer (Stacy) of West Chester; his grandchildren, Jessica Meyer (Dereck), Janelle Becker, Dustin Deming (Megan), Kyle Meyer, Austin Meyer, Miranda Niese, Matt Niese, Brittney Meyer, Morgan Niese and Isabelle Meyer; his great grandchild Karson Meyer; his siblings, Marie Horman (John), Alice Maas (Dave), Frank Meyer, Elmer Meyer (Sharon), Jim Meyer, John Meyer (Joan), Norm Meyer (Janet) and Bill Meyer (Kate); his siblings-in-law, Carol Meyer, Pat Meyer, Theresa Gerding, Velma Warnimont, Janet Variell, Jane Pothast (Ron) and Norm Siebeneck; and also Baby Deming.
