He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril "Shrimp" Horstman and Evelyn Horstman (Seymour); and his grandson Curtis Schwinnen. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shaw; his children, Steven Horstman (Dan Fischer) of Delphos, Rick Horstman (Carol) of Kalida, Christy Schwinnen (Dean) of Delphos and Brad Horstman (Jen) of Kalida; his siblings, RuthAnn "Sis" Schimmoeller (Tom) of Delphos and John Horstman (Susan) of Ottoville; his mother-in-law Pam Van Schoyck (Mike) of Venice, Florida.; his grandchildren, Cassie Hermiller (Brady), Jordan Klima (Dylan), Riley Horstman, Brandi Merschman, Devin Merschman, Lydia Fischer (Ryan), Nolan Schwinnen, Jayce Horstman, Joel Horstman and Jax Horstman; and his great grandchild Bowen Hermiller.
Per the families wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Curtis Dean Schwinnen Memorial Scholarship Fund.
