With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan A. Turnwald of Ottoville, Ohio, born in Saint Marys, Ohio, who passed away on January 7, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan A. Turnwald to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Braun and Elizabeth Braun (Knapke); and her siblings, Sarah Braun, Sr., Alma Braun, Dorothy Bettinger, Cletus Braun, Sr., Freida Kuhn and Irene Frey.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Eickholt (Timothy) of Ottoville, Sue Martin (Dale) of Ottoville, Barb Etgen (Steve) of Ottoville and Jeff Turnwald (Marie) of Ottoville; and her close friend Mary Alice Niese of Miller City. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
