He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hoersten and Rita M. Hoersten (Tigner); and his son Craig Hoersten. He is survived by: his children, Cory Hoersten (Jill) of Cloverdale, Megan Burgei (Chris) of Ottoville, Trisha Haughn (Brandon) of Ottawa, Casey Hoersten (Jennifer) of Ottoville and Brady Hoersten (Kimberly) of Ottoville; his grandchildren, Alexander (Hailey Cotterman), Cayden, Jessa, Reid Burgei, Benjamin, Makenna Haughn, Josie Hoersten, Elijah, Jackson, Marcus, Addilynn and Scarlett Hoersten; his siblings, Irene Rieman (Kenneth) of Bowling Green, Evelyn Klima (Eugene) of Payne, Phillip Hoersten (Marilyn) of Ottoville, Marcille "Marcy" Hoehn (Edward) of Ottoville, Beverly Schnipke (Randolf) of Ottoville, Ralph Hoersten (Elizabeth) of Delphos, Bryan Hoersten (Shelley) of Ft. Jennings and Audrey Kimmet (Dave) of Ottoville; and his pet Janney.
A prayer was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Jackson Twp (16085 OH-634, Fort Jennings, OH 45844). Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (189 Church St, Ottoville, OH 45875).
