He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Gerdeman and Margaret Gerdeman (Korb); his wife Marie M. Gasser; and his siblings, Roseann Friedrich (Harold), Lenore Gerdeman, Alice Quinter (Louis), Marie Swick (William), Jane Fairfax (William), Mary Ellen Gerdeman and Eugene Gerdeman.
He is survived by: his sons, Dan Gerdeman of Ottoville, Jim Gerdeman (Penney) of Ft. Jennings, Gary Gerdeman (Sue) of Delphos and Keith Gerdeman of Ottoville; his grandchildren, Derek Gerdeman (Alison), Lance Gerdeman (Kathryn), Matt Gerdeman (Katlynn Schleeter) and Monica Bruskotter (Joel); his great grandchildren, Bishop and Alia Bruskotter; his sisters, Dorothy Lamy (Elton) of Cincinnati and Joan Ricker (Robert) of Delphos; and his sister-in-law Marty Gerdeman of Ottoville.
