He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kiene of Ottawa; his children, Jennifer Schumaker (Ryan) of Ottawa, Ashley Kiene of Ottawa and Aaron Kiene of Ottawa; his sisters, Tracy Hall (Mark) of Lima and Terry Kiene of Lima; and his grandsons, Emmett, Aiden and Noah Schumaker.
