She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Moore and Elizabeth Moore (Edwards); and her siblings, Geraldine Duncan (late Richard), James Moore Jr. (Doris), Clara Rupp (late Robert), Margaret Ann Moore, Virginia Gloede (Jay), Marie Moore, Thomas Moore and William Patrick Moore.

She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Brancheau; her children, Dawn Baurichter (Craig), David Brancheau (Miya Abbott), Laura Ventimiglia (Jason Jones), Erin Thomas (Justin) and Matt Brancheau; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael Ventimiglia, Murphy, Walker Jones, Connor and Julia Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rita Brancheau's name to the American Heart Association.

“This coming February 2024 would 20 years we have been friends. She was my 1st tai chi student at Southwest YMCA (Wolf Creek YMCA) of Greater Toledo. She always had a smile on her face, was quick witted, amazing seamstress, loved learning more and going to trainings with me and Julie. Cathy loved her family and enjoyed her trips to the beach with her sisters. I’m going to miss that twinkle in her eye… until we meet again my dear friend… ❤️Becky Rahe”
