He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert H. Maas and Jeannette Busack (Maag); his stepfather Paul "Bob" Busack; his brothers, David, Dennis and Steven Maas; and his stepfather Cornelius "Corny" Brinkman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rick Maas (Dianne) of Miller City, Linda Nichols (Robert) of Ottawa and Rodney Maas (Patricia) of Toledo; and his sister-in-law Alice Maas of Ottawa. He is also survived by seven stepbrothers; six stepsisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Special Olympics.
