It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merrill A. Raye of Ottawa, Ohio, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Raye and Dorothy Raye (Geller); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Kruse (Eugene). He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Fischer; his children, Rachelle Roberts (Mark) of Leipsic, Nanette Raye of Findlay, Michael Raye of Ottawa and Mary Ellen Lehman (Timothy) of Glandorf; his grandchildren, Abbey Sudlow (Dakota), Beau Roberts (Lyndsay), Gabriel Roberts (Marci Schroeder), Ella Roberts, Cody Warnimont (Rachel), Owen Raye, Andrew Raye and Evan Raye; his great grandchildren, Sophie Sudlow, Auden Sudlow, Raelynn Roberts and Millie Roberts; and his siblings, Errol Raye of Ocala, FL and Cynthia Greene (Bob) of Greenville.
Memorial donations may be given to Putnam County Hospice, American Kidney Foundation or Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
