She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Laverty and Arlene Laverty (Kuhn); her husband William "Bill" Bockrath; and her sisters, Marty Ann Laverty, Connie Laverty and Patricia Schwab.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca "Becky" Broxterman (Mark) of Hamilton and Andrew "Andy" Bockrath of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Amber and Lindsay Broxterman; and her children, Hilko Bengen, Kathrin Kinzer and Frauke Kleinsorge.
