He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur B. and Mary A. Niese (Kuhlman); his siblings, Tommy Niese, Kenny Niese and Mary Lou Niese; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Schreiber and Lorrie Niese.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Verhoff (Oran) of Miller City, Beckie Vorst (Chad) of Ottawa and Brad Niese (Carla) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Claire, Grayson Verhoff, Kalin, Carter, Ragen, Payton Vorst, Addelyn and Bo Niese; his siblings, Judy Schreiber of Ottawa, Margie Chamberlin (Bob) of Ottawa, Ron Niese (Kathy) of Miller City, Steve Niese (Vic) of Leipsic, Duane Niese of Ottawa, Mike Niese (Brandy Opperman) of Middlepoint and Tina Niese (Tom) of Miller City; and his sister-in-law Karen Niese of New Cleveland.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Love Funeral Home - Ottawa (405 E 3rd St, Ottawa, OH 45875). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the STS Peter and Paul Catholic Church - Ottawa (307 N Locust St, Ottawa, OH 45875).
Memorial donations may be made to Flag City Honor Flight (http://www.flagcityhonorflight.org). In lieu of traditional thank you cards, the family will be making an additional contribution to the Flag City Honor Flight.
