She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Grone and Evelyn Grone (Rahrig); her husband Virgil B. Kaufman of John's Catholic Church; and her brothers, Elmer Grone, George Grone (Octavia) and John Grone.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Kaufman (Peg) of Pandora, Ron Kaufman (Sher) of Palm Desert, CA, Dr. Lynn Schmidt (Scott) of Philadelphia, PA and Dean Kaufman (Joan) of Rhinelander, WI; her brother Irvin Grone (Mary) of Delphos; and her sister-in-law Ruth Grone of Delphos. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
The family requests no flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Putnam County Council on Aging.
