With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helen Iossi formerly of Ottawa, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Helen left this world on December 26, 2024 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harris and Mary Harris (Garber); her brother Jack Harris; her husband Glenn Iossi; and her children, Stephen Iossi and Mary Gaffney.
She is survived by: her sons, David Iossi and Paul Iossi (Sharon); and her grandchildren, Devon Iossi, Ryan Iossi, Alison Melia (Larry), Aileen Callan (Michael), Elizabeth Keller (Jordan), Connor Gaffney (Rebecca), Brian Gaffney (Megan) and Nolan Gaffney. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In those chapters, Helen taught that "we cannot tell a mountain without a valley, and we learn to walk through valleys so we can climb the mountains!"Memorials to in recognition of Helen's amazing life lived to the fullest may be made to the Mayo Clinic, Ottawa Hills School Foundation, and Ashanti Hospice.
