It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Marie Wannemacher of Ottawa, Ohio, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine "Wally" Schmenk and Gertrude Schmenk (Morman); her husband Roman "Romie" Wannemacher; her sisters, Zelma Whitney (George), Rosemary Cartwright (Sam) and Margaret Betts (Thomas); and her in-laws, Justin Wannemacher (Alice), Carl Wannemacher (Georgianna), Marie Maas (Dick) and Jeanette "Dolly" Schroeder (Vern).
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Warnecke (Dave) and Barbara Fortman (Al); her grandchildren, Bryant Warnecke (Brooke), Chelsea Brumbaugh (Corey), Devin Kutz (Carlton), Eric Warnecke (Jessica), Kristen Fortman and Nicole Fortman (Matthew Green); and her close friend Dave Frick.
