It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald T. Alt of Ottawa, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Alt and Clara Alt (Pitson); his sons, Phil Alt and Rod Alt; and his siblings, Rita Erford, Jean Schroeder, Eileen Wagner, Bob Alt and George Alt.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Alt (Jane) of Glandorf, Jeff Alt (Brenda) of Powell, Dan Alt (Jacque) of Knoxville, TN, Janice Heuker (Phil) of Perrysburg and Keith Alt (Lisa) of Ottawa; his daughter-in-law Lisa Alt of Ottawa; and his sister Pat Inkrott of Miller City. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Parish Hall fund or toward Ottawa-Glandorf Titan Stadium.
