It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis L. Hoersten of Ottawa, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hoersten and Donelda Hoersten (Deck); and his brother-in-law Bill Shumaker. He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Hoersten of Ottawa and Dolores Shumaker of Delphos; his nieces and nephews, Mark, Greg, Brian Shumaker, Karen Shumaker, Marci Hughes and Cindy Shumaker; and his great-nephews, Matthew Radaszewski and Kaden Shumaker.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to a charity of the donor's choice.
