She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore R. Burgei and Norma C. Burgei (Hilvers). She is survived by: her sons, Matt Leopold (Ashley) of Van Buren, Tom Leopold (Brandi) of Ottawa and Justin Leopold (Jing) of Waterford, MI; her grandchildren, Griffin, Briggs, Eloise, Charlotte, Harper, Hayden Leopold, Shayla, Anna, Kaylee, Caroline Remaklus, Jaxton Fuerst, Onalei, Tom Leopold and Madelynn Leopold; and her siblings, Ted Burgei (Chris) of New Cleveland, John Burgei (Bernice) of Ottawa, Renee Scott (Kevin) of Montpelier, Charlotte Alt (Tony) of Continental, Tony Burgei (Ashleigh) of Miller City, Dan Burgei of Miller City and Eric Burgei of Ottawa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Leipsic (226 Belmore St, Leipsic, OH 45856). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
