She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Aelker and Agnes Aelker (Schmiedebusch); her husband Herman Ruhe; and her siblings, Joseph Aelker and Mary Kiene (Thomas).
She is survived by: her daughter Julia Ruhe of Ottawa; and her siblings, John Aelker (Joan) of Ottawa, Carl Aelker (Tina) of Florida, Leo Aelker (Kathy) of Ottawa, Rita Schroeder (Mike) of Findlay and Rose Basinger (Larry) of Columbus Grove.
