She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight V. Shirk and Helen Eulaila Shirk (Jolliff); and her husband Glenn K. Downing, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Smart of Grove City and Nancy Jo Downing (Vicki Panton) of Mt. Holly, NC; her granddaughters, Glenda Jiminez (Leon) and Lori Jones (Bud); her great grandchildren, Eve, Jade Julien, Xavier Jiminez, Ally and Natalie Jones; and her brother John Jolliff (Deborah) of Marysville.

Memorial contributions can be made to Luminary Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
