Doris I. Schemmel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2022, at the age of 88, Doris I. Schemmel of Osgood, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Albers and Regina Albers (Bills); her husband Norbert Schemmel; her siblings, Ralph (Rosemary Albers), Rita Albers, Mary (Clem Poeppelman) and Cy Albers; and her parents-in-law, Larry, Luetta Schemmel, Marietta, Lawrence Holthaus, Rosalie, Dick Luebke, Alma, Bill Rutschilling, Louis, Pauline Schemmel (Drees), Vern Schemmel, Linus Schemmel and Joseph Schemmel.
She is survived by: her children, Linda (Ken Thobe), Lavern (Melissa Schemmel), Edward (Lisa Schemmel) and Denise (Roger Rethman); her siblings, Paul (Mary Albers), Bertie Albers, Celina, Don (Annie Albers), Agnes (Dale Goettemoeller), Barb (John Sherman), Roger (Shirley Albers) and Phyllis Poeppelman; and her brother-in-law Urban Drees. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
